Part 2 of the Charlie and Johnny Jam Sessions is now available!
You asked for it, you got it… Charlie Gilkey and I recorded a second FREE “Jam Session” to complement our first, available below. This one was louder, more raucous, and contained exactly the same number of flamingos. Check it out!
It’s over at the new Charlie and Johnny Jam Sessions website. Please click the deceptive graphic below and then get mad when it takes you to a site instead of playing a file. Then scroll down and listen to the file anyway.
A downloadable version of that file, as well as part 1 of the Jam Sessions, is over at the Charlie and Johnny Jam Sessions website. Check it out; we hope you’ll join us!

The 1st call resonated with me more than the 2nd just because I’m currently living the struggle of finding my own voice and focus online. It was actually a relief to hear your views on niche dominance vs niche blogging with an authentic personality thus connecting with people on a more genuine level. I am highly educated and experienced in several areas and thoroughly enjoy empowering others with what I know. However, I’m uncomfortable with touting myself as an “expert” in just one specific area and I prefer bringing a little more humility into the mix. So hearing what you both had to say on this issue is helping me get closer to crystalizing my vision of where I’d like to go with my budding Internet Marketing (IM) business.
That said, I did enjoy hearing the 2nd call and do plan on listening to it again as specific parts of the content become more relevant to my current circumstances. I especially enjoyed the segment exploring whether the IM business can be taught to just anyone regardless of their personality, etc. For one thing, I was in complete agreement with the perspective that we’re each responsible for our own emotional state. That’s probably one of the most important keys for any new entrepreneur (especially women) to grasp and implement. And, as a woman who has earned her life wisdom the hard way, I remember only too well the struggle of learning to say no in my business life. Excellent insights on this call, guys!
Looking forward to hearing future calls and to hearing from your Guest Experts.
Best,
DeeMarief
Glad you enjoyed it! They’re fun for us to do, and we both feel that the casual atmosphere is probably more instructive than something formal… because this is how “real people” seem to actually learn things: by hanging out and chatting with friends. Of course, once you start wanting to learn differential equations, you should probably pick up a textbook, but we haven’t gotten that far yet.
And hey, if you want to hear those future calls, you’ll need to join up!
