So you want to be an affiliate…

That’s awesome. You’re awesome.

E-Junkie will give you a link, and you’ll give it to your friends, family, and associates. (Skip to the very end of this page if you need further instructions.)

The folks at e-junkie are helpful and will let you know each time you sell anything, which is very cool. That’s there all there is to it. So sign up below, but then be sure to keep reading.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

PLEASE review the sales page before you promote any product. I want to be sure you know what you’re selling so that you can best pimp it to the world.

(NOTE: For blog or website setups, consider mentioning that the payment to me covers only my time. All customers will have to pay for hosting, and that’s just a fact of having a website.)

POLICIES:

1. All coaching services are excluded from the affiliate program.

2. There is no minimum payout for this program. If you sell $1 in stuff somehow, you’ll get $1 the next month. And then let the good times roll!

3. Each calendar month is a pay cycle. I pay my affiliates before the end of the following month. So if you sell two blog setups in May, you’ll be paid for them before the end of June.

4. If a person wants their money back, which may necessitate me taking that person’s blog or site back down, you won’t be paid for that sale because I wasn’t paid either.

5. I pay through PayPal. You’re going to need to get a PayPal account if you don’t have one. E-Junkie requires it.

A BIT OF E-JUNKIE INSTRUCTION

You may be new to this. That’s cool; you can still do it. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Once you’ve registered for e-junkie, you’ll probably see an option right away to “Get affiliate code.” If you don’t, click “Affiliate Admin” in the nav bar along the top and you’ll see it. So click on that: “Get affiliate code.”

2. Select “Johnny B. Truant” from the list, and choose “Get affiliate code.”

3. You’ll see something like this:

If you just want to use the link (i.e. emailing it to Uncle Fred), then send Uncle Fred the part between (but not including) the quotes that I’ve highlighted above.

If you know a bit about HTML and choose to copy the entire swatch of code and paste it on your site or into an e-zine, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD please change the anchor to something better than “Click here to visit Johnny B. Truant website!” I don’t seem to be able to change it on my end. I’d suggest using something like, “Get your self-hosted Wordpress blog or website installed for cheap!”
